Simply plug the player into a usb port on the console and install the disk. Comparing the price to an independant hd player makes the add on a superb buy, any 360 owner should seriously think about getting one. But, you will have to download updates from microsoft. Anyone not online will have to be prepared to have the odd dvd that won't play.
